SIMBALLAY FESTIVAL

      Simballay Festival is an annual celebration of Nabunturan which features different kinds of huts. Simballay is an mansaka word which means togetherness and gathering.

    While walking to its own whole beauty and there is one hut that caught my eyes. How proud am I seeing the fighting pride of mine wearing its own creative tatami mats with green lights attach to it.This is Brgy. Magsaysay and the designs around it describes its whole perspectives and this booth got second place in the 23rd Simballay Festival. Its nice to be part of this kind of celebration in order for us to be aware what are the cultures that must be preserve and to give its importance not for just for the mean time but for the next generations. I love NABUNTURAN.

HAPPY PARENTS' DAY

“One of the greatest titles in the world is parent, and of the biggest blessings in the world is to have parents call Mom and Dad”. It was a nice seeing big smiles with teary eyes written in their faces. Everybody were rejoicing with full of joy and excitement. 

Ma and Pa "Happy Parents' Day". I am so lucky to have you. I am sorry for sometimes I am not obedient with you. I am so grateful for all the sacrifices that you've made and took. Ma and Pa I LOVE YOU.

This video titled “Inakala” is one of the nominees of the (IACAT) Inter-Agency Council  Against Trafficking competition which paticipatedby some students of Nabuturan National Comprhensive High School (NNCHS).  This video is amazing and it deserves first place.

As you see to the video it shows violence among women which rampant in our society nowadays. The big main reason why its’ happening  today because of lack education to some women that will lead to human trafficking and also another reason it is because our governments have lack of set of rules that protects the dignity and rights of women. There some cases that will result to abusing women and even lead to death.

 As a young and responsible individual, in order to prevent these kind of abuses especially to the women. I will join an organization that the main goal is to stop, prevent and fight women’s dignity and rights. And also I will encourage them to join and attend  WOMEN CONFERENCE to know and dicuss their rights as a woman.
